lisette ellis aia

Founding partner Lisette Ellis is a graduate of Wellesley College and holds a Master of Architecture degree from MIT. Previously she worked in Boston with Kevin Lynch at Carr Lynch Associates and at Shepley Bulfinch Richardson and Abbott before moving to New Mexico.

Lisette has served as chair of the New Mexico Board of Examiners for Architects and as president of both AIA Santa Fe and the Santa Fe Rail Yard Community Corporation and was also a charter board member of Homewise, Santa Fe’s non-profit affordable housing program.

She has been a visiting lecturer at the University of New Mexico School of Architecture and Planning and a guest critic at UCLA, RISD, MIT and UNM. She has been awarded the AIA New Mexico Architect’s Medal for the advancement of the practice of architecture in recognition of outstanding professional achievement and sense of social responsibility.
